As Head of Americas Electronic Product, Anushree works extensively with the firm’s sophisticated execution clients to provide bespoke performance analytics and deliver consultative insights related to their trading strategies. In her role as a senior member of Instinet’s global Quantitative Trading Strategies team, she helps to guide research that drives the algorithmic trading models and works closely with software engineering teams to implement quantitative solutions. Prior to joining Instinet in 2012, Anushree worked as Head of Quant Analytics at Nomura Securities, where she led the product development and sales for Nomura’s industry-leading quantitative analytics products and was instrumental in launching Nomura’s quantitative solutions offering, combining analytics and research capabilities.

Anushree earned a degree in Engineering and Computer Science from Pune University. She also completed her MBA from the Indian Institute of Management where she won the President’s Gold Medal for Academic Excellence and is a CFA charter holder. Anushree lives in Manhattan with her husband and two young sons. Anushree has trained in classical Indian music from a young age and in her spare time, she enjoys learning music, attending concerts and also serves on the board of the Nomura Asians & Allies network as well as on diversity committees at her children’s schools.
