BNP Paribas AM Lists First ETFs in London

BNP Paribas Asset Management (‘BNPP AM’) listed, for the first time, four ESG equity ETFs[1] on the London Stock Exchange, showcasing BNPP AM’s range of ETF capabilities across the ESG and thematic spectrum. These ETFs are the sub-funds of BNPP AM’s ICAV, which was created at the start of 2023. This ICAV comes in addition to the existing French and Luxemburg SICAVs. This exciting step will allow access to a broader range of international clients while leveraging the benefits of the UK’s deep ETF market pool, and contribute to growing our global footprint.

Along with this first LSE listing, BNPP AM announces the appointment of Miriam Breen who will lead Business Development for ETF and Index Solutions, UK & Ireland. Miriam will be based in London, reporting to Lorraine Sereyjol-Garros, Global Head of Business Development ETF & Index Solutions. Miriam joins BNPP AM after over a decade at Legal & General Investment Management, where she most recently served as Key Account Manager, overseeing top clients in the UK wholesale and retail markets. Among other wide-ranging experience, she was also previously Head of Investment Sales. Miriam brings extensive market and investment management expertise with her as BNPP AM enters this next phase of ETF coverage.

Miriam holds a BSc in Economics and Mathematical Sciences, Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University of Limerick., and is completing her Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

Lorraine Sereyjol-Garros, Global Head of Business Development ETF & Index Solutions commented:

“These landmark listings mark the realisation of a journey two years in the making, which began when we decided to set up the ICAV, and are the result of an important collective effort across BNPP AM. The UK is an integrally important market for us and listing on the LSE will allow us to have a much broader reach. I am very excited to welcome Miriam, who will help support business expansion on the ground. Her wealth of experience will help to harness this momentum and drive our ETF journey into even greater territory in the coming months and years.”
