Positive Impact: Erica Attonito, Hudson River Trading

Erica Attonito

What was your reaction to winning the award?

I was very honored to receive the Positive Impact Award at the 2023 Markets Media Women in Finance Dinner. As the only daughter of a football coach, my father instilled in me very early on the importance of being a good team player and helping those around you shine so I have always approached my career with that in mind.

How would your co-workers describe you?

Well, I hope my co-workers would tell you how amazing I am and how I’m their favorite colleague… but all joking aside I think they would say I am competitive, a team player, an advocate, and above all a realist.

What’s something you’re really proud of and why?

I am really proud to be the mother of 4 little girls; Reese (12), Charlotte (11), Alexandra (10), and Grayson (7) and my hope for them, and for future generations of women, is that they grow up with a strong sense of self-worth and independence.

How do you deal with pressure or stressful situations?

I try to take everything one day at a time. I have a supportive husband (Rob Crowe) who is a true partner and is there for me every step of the way. I have worked at great firms like Radianz, Knight/KCG, & now HRT with great people to lean on as well. Find your people. They will celebrate your victories and they will let you cry on their shoulder when you need it too.
