Mandarin Oriental Singapore
May 29th 2025
Submission Deadline is April 28th 2025
Markets Media Group is pleased to present the 2025 Women in Finance Asia Awards. The seventh-annual event will be held as an evening dinner gala in Singapore on Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Last year's WIFAA program recognized and celebrated more than 30 of the most dynamic, talented and accomplished professional women who drive excellence in the financial centers of Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.
Winners included Stella Jang of Citadel for Excellence in Hedge Funds; EeLeen Yueh of BlackRock for Excellence in Buy-Side Trading; Clare Witts of JP Morgan for Industry Advocate; Carol Fong of CGS International Securities for Leadership; Bonnie Chan of HKEX for CEO of the Year; and Cathie Armour of Cboe Australia for Lifetime Achievement.
The WIFAA program has come a long way since its inaugural luncheon in Hong Kong in 2019. The event pivoted to a virtual format in 2020-2022 and expanded its reach with winners from PIMCO, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, HSBC Asset Management, Morgan Stanley, and other large, influential global financial firms. The 2023 and 2024 WIFAAs brought back the energy, spirit and fun that only in-person events can provide.
Through the evolution of the event, the goal remains the same: to convene top women traders, technologists and senior capital markets executives in Asia - and their male allies - for an evening of networking, inspiration and fun.
As with other Markets Media awards programs, the WIFAA program recognizes the most talented and accomplished women in multiple categories across the business of finance: buy-side and sell-side trading desks, institutional investors, wealth managers, securities exchanges, technology providers, corporate finance, venture capital firms, and fintech start-ups.
Nominees are put forth by readers of Global Trading and Markets Media, and shortlists and winners are determined by the editorial staffs of the two platforms, in conjunction with the WIFAA Advisory Board. Our methodology in selecting nominees and then winners for Women in Finance is simple yet thorough, and keeps the focus on the important opinions: the colleagues, clients and competitors who know the women best.
Please join us at Mandarin Oriental Singapore on May 29, 2025 as we recognize and celebrate the best of the best women in Asian financial markets!
