As Managing Director and CFO at a large financial organization, our winner leads the firm’s global finance and treasury teams and oversees the company’s efforts to strengthen its financial processes and capital position.
Throughout her 32-year career, she has balanced resiliency and flexibility in managing difficult circumstances that require persistence and resolve, such as during the financial crisis and the Lehman Brother’s liquidation – all while being the best leader she can be, constantly elevating the way she thinks and driving accountability for herself and her team.
Her advice to women starting out in finance for when they may feel intimidated: “embrace those moments when you feel uncomfortable. It is here that you grow.”
