EMSAC Term Extended

Five months.

That’s the length of the extension granted by the Securities and Exchange Commission to the Equity Market Structure Advisory Committee to meet and provide feedback to the regulator on issues affecting the equity markets.

The EMSAC can now meet until January 9, 2018.

According to sources, there has been no word yet on any changes to membership or on the establishment of a similar group for fixed income.

The next EMSAC meeting has yet to be scheduled.
